Relaxation is a way in which you can switch off from those annoyingly unavoidable tasks, nags, emotions and activities that cause stress.
Stress is not good for us. Stress is the point at which excessive or persistent pressure causes physical or mental harm. Therefore pressure is not the same as stress and is normally good for us. Experiencing short term stress is normal and often occurs on a daily basis, but we must learn to de-stress as soon as possible to avoid the negative destructive effects of stress.
Stress puts us into survival mode, survival hormones are released, so high calorie, and quickly absorbed, carb’s and fat become overwhelmingly irresistible.
