The Smiler is woodland dweller and despeite it's ferocios looking teetch, a herbivore!
It uses it's huge, razor sharp teeth to chew the bark off the lemon bark tree. A tree with bark that tastes not infact of lemon but of lime, it's thought that it was named by someone who has never tasted either a lemon or the bark of the lemon bark tree. The Smiler will eat other tree bark though it's favourite is the lime flavoured lemon tree bark and it will travel for miles to get it!

It's fur is a mixture of long and short and covered in the green moss thats rubs off the tree bark it eats. For this reason many consider it to be a filthy animal but it is infact quite the opposite. The moss that grows on the ark of the lemon bark tree is infact a cleasing agent and used in a lot of those fancy pants dishwasher tablets with 10-in-1 action. Meaning it's fur is very silky and glossy underneath the layer of moss.

The Smiler is a very friendly creature, dangerously friendly. Smilers will gently chew each other as a sign of affection, for them this is no daner as they have such thick skin they do not pierce it. However for most other creatures this affection can be deadly. A Smilers perception of life and death is not very good and often they do not realise what they have just done, so it's best to avoid them if possible.

In short, lovely creatures, just dangerously dumb.
