Slow Whales are the slowest swimmers in the sea. They live at the bottom of the sea and feed upon sea slugs, thousands of sea slugs. It is thought that the average Slow Whales consomes around three thousand sea slugs a day. It's a good job the sea is so big!

Like all whales, Slow Whales are few and far between. Infact they are far more endagered than the Blue Whale, though not many even know of their existance, so little has been done to protect them. Their near demisewas due to the sheer amount of sea slugs that they consume. At one time there were so many Slow Whales that they almost killed of the entire sea slug population. as it was they wiped out many species od sea slug. This then of course led to famine and ony the strongest Slow Whales survived, and since then they have been slowly decreasing.

Yuo may have noticed the extra set of flippers on the Slow Whale, alos the addition of thumbs. They use these extra flippers and thumbs to pull themselves along the sea floor, allowing them to scoop up mouthfls of sea slugs, firing the sand out of their blowhole when they surface.
