Crabbit :

Crabbits are odd rabbit-like creatures. Their name actually come from the word rabbit and their cranberry colour - cranberry rabbit - crabbit!

They have thick whiskers on their face, these are covered in tiny hairs which are actually more whiskers, making them ultra sensitive to any movement around them. combined with the incredible hearing power of their large ears, it's pretty hard for anything to catch one of these fellows!

Their large tails are used as warning signals to others, they can either use them to beat the ground to warn those in burrows below. Or they can wave them in the air like a flag to warn those on the surface.

Despite all these rabbit-like qualities the one thing they do not share in common is the speed at which they multiply. Crabbits will have up to 15 young at any one time though most do not survive and they can only have young every 5years. The average life-span of a Crabbit is 10 years.
